What were the responsibilities?
The main responsibilities of the position were:
- Modernize and rewrite a complex PHP application acquired by the Client using the Python/Django framework.
- Develop new features and functionalities for the application.
- Containerize the application using Docker for efficient deployment and scalability.
- Collaborate with the existing development team (2 full-time) to ensure seamless integration.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.
